34 year veteran science/biology teacher says:
"Hi! I have just spent about two hours exploring this website that I discovered on a link of the National Science Teachers Association website. I am so impressed! I am a retired Minnesota science/biology teacher (34 years) and I must say that seeing your site makes me consider returning to the classroom so I can learn more about our world, and bring a few more kids with me in the process. It's too late in the night to go on for now, but I would like to send your address to my daughter who has just started her first year of teaching in North Carolina this past week. She has 5th grade math students there, and I spotted a number of activities where math related activities could be "plugged in". Do I need your permission for this? I am guessing not, as I am sure you want to "spread the word" on your work. Again, "Great Job"!! This is so good!"
20 veteran teacher of Science and Math says:
"When I was first given this journal to review, I thought, "Oh, just another science magazine with content articles about science topics unrelated to my curriculum!" I was wrong! This journal is perfect for use and practice with process skills and the scientific method. (Students need this practice on a regular basis.) I also applaud you on using the scientist's perspective. Students should really get a feel for what it is like to be a scientist."
Linda of San Salvador, El Salvador says:
"My thanks to you and all the talented staff at Natural Inquirer! The material you have sent in spanish is wonderful and so interesting! We will make good use of it and we hope to receive any and all that you develop in spanish. Here in El Salvador ecology awareness is slowly catching on, and we need to do everything we can to keep the school childrens' interest. The children have already made an important impact on reducing the consumption of sea turtle eggs. Thank you again. "

"I want to congratulate you on your publication, the Natural Inquirer. It is interesting, readable, creative - just the kind of material that will engage the young reader. I have heard so often that research has important stories to tell, but that those stories do not reach the public. This is one avenue - a way to excite young people in our work and in the mission of conserving natural resources. "
