Carolina Bays

 

During rainy seasons, shallow land depressions in forests fill with rainwater creating freshwater wetlands called Carolina bays. Scientists wanted to know what would happen to these important wetlands after prolonged periods of drought. Read their results, then test the accuracy of the scientists' sampling methods with your own experiment.
